Rental Policies and Information for all Units
January 2nd Biarritz Motel starts taking reservation for the
calendar year.
Please call 1-207-934-2983 between the hours of 9am & 9pm daily.
Please leave your name and number on our recorder if we miss you and
someone will call you back.
All rates subject to change without notice, especially during
holidays, special events, July and August. Rates guaranteed only
with 30-day advance purchase with prepaid deposit. All rentals
subject to Maine sales tax (currently at 7%).
Cash, travelers checks, US money orders, and Visa, MC, AMEX,
Discover are taken. Sorry no personal checks excepted at check-in
time.
Proper id and credit card imprint for security/damage reasons is
required for all check-ins. If you do not have a credit card, you
will need a minimum 1+ day room rental in cash, as a security
deposit. No money is charged on this card or taken from cash unless
damages have occurred, or you have an unpaid balance upon departure,
(parking, extra persons, smoking, dirty unit, pets, etc..)
There are no refunds for any reason including short stays, bad
weather, illness, death, family emergencies, etc,. Once you have
checked –in.
All
units are non-smoking. You are free to smoke outside on the
decks, in the pool area and in the BBQ area. There is a $50.00 fee
if management or staff finds that you have been smoking in our
units.
Maximum occupancy limit in all units: is strictly
enforced. Occupancy limits are determined by how many people are
allowed to sleep in the unit. (fire and safety codes) all adults and
children over the age of 12 months are and will be “included
in the total”. If you plan on bringing additional people
(including children) make sure to call 1-207-934-2983 to make sure
your unit is large enough to sleep everyone. You may be required to
take a 2nd unit or a larger unit. Please note that we do not “allow”
anyone to sleep on the floors in sleeping bags, mats or blow up
mattresses (health reasons) cots, mats, cribs, ect., not provided by
motel.
Reservation Deposit: a 1 night deposit required for
rentals less than 5 days. A 50% deposit is required for all
reservations 5 days or longer.
Cancellation Policy For: Queen, Double/Doubles or
Whirlpool Tubs require a 14 day notice to receive a refunds less
$25.00 administrative fees. (no sleep credits given) any reservation
made or cancelled within the 14 days prior to arrival will receive
no refunds. (see “sleep credit” below)
Cancellation Policy For: Small 1 & 2 Bedroom
Kitchens, Large 2 Bedroom Kitchens and Vic’s 3-Bedroom Kitchen,
Captain’s House Down And Jojo’s 3 Bedroom Kitchen. Once charged are
non-refundable. (see “sleep credit” below)
“Sleep Credits”: however, we will allow you to come
back anytime during the current season (May 1- Mid Sept) to use this
deposit (sleep credit) towards another stay with us. (minimum stay
required) if you do not use this by Mid September, you lose the
entire deposit. “sleep credits” are good for the current year only.
They will not be carried over to the next season.
Check-In Time: 2:00-3:00 pm - sorry no early
check-ins. If you arrive early in the day, we ask that you park in a
municipal parking lot for a minimal fee until check-in time.
Check-Out Time: 10:00am for units with King,
Double/Doubles And Whirlpool Tubs. All other units 11:00am - no late
check-outs. Vehicles are to be removed from our lots at this time.
Parking is Very Limited: 1 vehicle for King,
Double/Doubles, Whirlpool Tubs, Small 1 & 2 Bedroom Kitchens. No 2nd
vehicles. Large 2 Bedroom Kitchens also have 1 spot with an option
for a 2nd if available at check-in time. $10 per day fee. Vic’s
3bedroom & Captain’s House down each have 2 parking spots each and
Jojo’s 3 Bedroom has 3 parking spots.
Quiet Time: is from 11:00pm to 8:00am.
We ask that you respect your neighbors. Should you have problems
during the night with your neighbors, please call the office 24/7 so
we can take care of the problem. Please do not wait till morning!
Noisy Rooms: our policy is... you will be given
1 warning to correct the problem, should
management/owners need to come back a 2nd time, you will be asked to
leave, and no refund for any days remaining.
Pool: Only registered guests of Biarritz are
permitted to use the pool. Our pool is solar heated and is set of
75-80* however if we have days with no sun the temperature will
drop. Open mid may to mid September - 10:00am - 7:00pm Off Season.
10:ooam-10:00pm during season. Closed if temperature is under 60* or
during thunder storms. Children under age 14 must have adult in pool
area to supervise .
No Pets: you will be asked to leave and a $50.00
fee for extra cleaning will apply from money returned.
Guests bring your own: hair dryers, computers (we
have free WiFi) video games, beach towels and beach blankets (our
linen are to remain in the unit).
